Movie Capture with Linux

I would like to enter the contest. And my (first) Question is:
How could I capture a Screen Movie ? Should I use xvidcap ? Or other Tools ?
I need a utility for Linux.
And whats about Sound ? Could I include Background Music or Speech ?

Yes, Xvidcap (http://xvidcap.sourceforge.net) is recommended for Linux.

Camtasia Studio (http://www.techsmith.com/products/studio/default.asp) is recommended for Windows. It is a commercial tool but has a 30-day trial (http://www.techsmith.com/download/studiodefault.asp) evaluation download.

And yes, music or speech (english) would be a nice touch - just try to keep the filesize not more than 20MB.
